Remember to bring your referral letter from your GP or existing specialist along to your appointment. Without a current referral letter, you will be unable to claim back your Medicare rebate from your appointment fee.
As soon as you know you are pregnant, we encourage you to contact us to arrange an appointment booking. Your first appointment should be made between 8 to 12 weeks gestation. If you wish, you are welcome to bring along your support person during your pregnancy – your husband / partner, a close friend or relative.

During your pregnancy or gynaecological treatment, there may be a time when you require after-hours medical attention.
To ensure you have access to specialist after-hours care, Dr Jamie Friebe participates in an on-call roster with the following Obstetricians and Gynaecologists:
- Dr Nam Bajra.
- Dr Kate Kerridge.
- Dr Min Kho.
- Dr Terry Sheahan.
- Dr Eva Kretowicz.
For urgent after-hours specialist care, please call the delivery suite number 07 3246 3163 and speak to the on-call midwife who will assist you.
An ‘Estimate of Fees’ for your antenatal care and delivery will be provided at your initial consultation. This Practice charges above the Medicare Benefits Schedule for out-of-hospital and in-hospital services. You will be issued with an invoice at the end of each consultation and payment at that time is both expected and appreciated. You will need to pay the account in full and then take the invoice & receipt to Medicare for a rebate. Payment of in-hospital services is required within six weeks from invoice date.
